What are your hours of operation? We are open 7:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
Are you NAEYC accredited? Yes, our group childcare is fully accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
What is the ratio of younger verses older children in your group childcare? For school age children, the ratio is usually 10:1, never more than 13:1, preschool 2:10, toddler 2:9, infant 2:7.
Do you serve food? No we do not server meals, however morning and afternoon snacks are included in the group childcare program.
At what ages do you classify a child as being an infant, toddler or preschooler? We use 2 months to 15 months for infants, 15 months to 2.9 years for toddlers and 2.9 years through entering kindergarten for preschoolers.
Do you conduct background checks on your staff? Yes, ALL staff have to pass a background check prior to being offered a position at Suburban Child.
Do accept vouchers? Yes we do.
Are swim lessons part of your program? Yes, for both pre-school and after-school as well as all vacation days.
Do you offer scholarships? Yes, we do our best to try to help families who want to come to our center.
Do you have teacher's who speak languages other than english? Yes, we have a number of teachers who speak Portuguese and Spanish as well as English.
Do you offer reduced memberships for Suburban Child parents? Yes we do, please see a membership advisor at the front desk.
